A total of 18 792 citizens of Caravaca de la Cruz are called to the polls on Sunday, November 20 to elect new members of Congress and Senators from the region of Murcia, according to data provided by the Statistics Department of the City .

The number of voters has been an increase of 2% (363 voters) with respect to national elections in March 2008.

The number rises to 33 polling stations spread over a total of 17 schools.

The town center will have 10 schools and districts with 7.

The main innovation with respect to the distribution of schools is the move two tables at the Center for Training, Employment and Equality, the street located in Diego Cortez next to the garden of The Cejo, in order to decongest the flow of voters produced at peak times at school Our Lady of Consolation.

Moreover, a total of 297 people were chosen by lot to be part of the polling stations.

Each table will be made in the beginning of nine members: a president, two deputies of the president, two members and alternate members.

The schools districts will be located in the public school Virgen de la Candelaria de Barranda, social hall and colleges Archivel singles, Navares, The Incarnation, The Almudema and Pinilla.

The town's schools are located in the old school of the Nuns, school San Francisco, Casa de la Cruz, school Our Lady of Consolation IV Area Health Center, ancient church of San Sebastian, Santa Cruz school, House of Culture Emilio Sáez, IES Perez Chirinos and Training Centre, Employment and Equality.

As for the nominations, voters can choose between 14 caravaqueños political formations.

As in the local and regional elections of last May, the municipal government representatives present at schools with two or more tables, have a PDA (personal digital assistant) to transmit the result of the central ballot Ministry of Interior.
