The Governing Council held today has approved an agreement between the Community, through the Instituto Murciano Social Action, and the city of Caravaca de la Cruz by the Consistory receive a total of 499,228 euros for the provision of residential services and day center for people with intellectual disabilities.
The Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration earmarked 318,265 euros for 15 seats on the residence, located in the hamlet of El Copo of that locality.
The recipients will receive full attention in your room and board in the development of programs and activities.
The residence also offers the user programs of basic activities of daily living necessary to improve their self-care and promote personal autonomy.
It also will feature health and social care and therapeutic services.
Moreover, the Community finances 20 seats in the center of day Caravaca de la Cruz, to which users come daily to receive rehabilitative care, occupational therapy, counseling and participate in programs to improve cognitive abilities.
