The CAI is ready to attend to 82 children aged between 4 and 36 months
The Minister of Social Policy, Joaquín Bascuñana, and the mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, inaugurated this morning the Center for Child Care (ISC), located next to the new building of the Official Language School.
This center for the care of children aged between 4 and 36 months, in addition to those already operating in the districts of Archivel and Barranda.
The Center for Child Care of Caravaca, funded with a budget of 1,187,658 for the Autonomous Region and the City of Caravaca, stood in the street Jesus Fernandez and Miguel Angel Blanco, completing the supply of schools that occupy this block formed by the school Basilio Sáez, school San Juan de la Cruz and the Official Language School.
Sunday Aranda said during the inauguration that "this is a building open to the care of children and the reconciliation of family and working families."
The ISC, with a total area of 1,500 square meters, is equipped with 6 classrooms, multipurpose room, kitchen, luggage carts, staff room, living room and nursing leadership.
The classrooms and dining room are directly communicated to the playground through a covered porch and the entire center is equipped with underfloor heating.
The center is prepared to serve 82 children and has a basement parking with 25 spaces.
This center, like the two other two in the municipality, is managed by Pronto Cooperative Society.
When operating at full capacity is expected to create 11 jobs.
The new service offering socio CAI first grade kindergarten, toy library in the evenings and holidays for children up to 12 years and special time bands according to parental demand.
We also have dining and art workshops, dance and gymnastics.
The current time is 9 to 14 and from 16 to 20 hours, extendable specific days according to family needs.
Is expected, upon demand, setting the hours of 8 to 20 hours continuously.
