In recent years the city of Caravaca is conducting a promotion campaign for the Feast of the crews in order to obtain the statement of Party of National Tourist Interest.

The file, which contains among many other aspects of accession 41 letters and more than 30 appearances on national media, was presented last December at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The record is the result of an ambitious and well-structured work that fits closely with the legal requirements and that argues, with an evidence base, the revitalization that has brought to the oral tradition of music celebrating the Feast of the crews, considered one of the oldest cultural events of its kind and most important of all those made in Spain.
