The Thuillier Theater hosts on Saturday March 10 the V National Contest of Chirigotas 'City of Caravaca de la Cruz', an event that has been presented by the Councilor for Culture and Celebrations, Oscar Martinez, accompanied by the local chirigotera training component , Juan de Dios Guerrero.
The contest, which will start at 10.00 pm, will feature the female chirigota of Caravaca de la Cruz, 'Chiriwoman', which debuted last Carnival, participating in various competitions and getting the first prize of the 'I Contest of Chirigotas de Carnival of Las Torres de Cotillas'.
It will act, as hostess, the chirigota 'The Echaos P'lante' of Caravaca, promoter formation of this event, which celebrates eight years by encouraging Carnival and participating in numerous contests.
The chirigota of Beniaján will also be on the stage of the Thuillier theater, which has been part of the Caravaqueño contest since its first edition and has several editions participating in the Official Contest of Carnavalescas de Cádiz (COAC).
The highlight will come from the hand of the Cadiz Chirigota and David Amaya 'Awito', who has been a semifinalist in Cádiz and has been one step away from getting into the Falla Theater's grand finale.
The entrance of the V National Competition of Chirigotas 'City of Caravaca de la Cruz' has a price of 10 euros in advance and 15 euros if it is purchased at the box office before the show.
