The X Cross 'Fuentes del Marqués' marks this Sunday, November 19, the start of the 2017/2018 season of the Cross Regional League.

The competition, open to both federated and popular runners, will be held from 9.15, with departure and finish in the caravaqueño area and a total of 11 races that cover all sports categories.

The Cross Fuentes del Marqués is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, with the collaboration of the athletics section of the Sports Association 'Cruz de Caravaca' and the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia.

In its tenth edition, it will gather more than five hundred athletes, from the Benjamin category to Veterans.

The route will be of earth and grass and will be divided into three circuits (700 meters, 1,100 meters and 2,600 meters).

The three first places in each of the categories will receive a prize and the races will be under the control of the Athletics Judges College of the Region of Murcia and the timing company www.asuspuestos.com.

The Cross of Caravaca will thus be the first test of the Cross Regional League, which in its XXXII edition has as headquarters the municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz, San Pedro, Yecla, Puerto Lumbreras, Lorca and Jumilla, with five scoring races and one where the individual regional titles will be decided.
