The cloister of the Caravaca Castle hosts the exhibition 'Road to inclusion', with works by people with disabilities (15/11/2017)

Among the events scheduled to mark the 35th anniversary of the federation of associations of families of people with intellectual disabilities Plena Inclusión Murcia and coinciding with the commemoration of the Jubilee Year 2017, the Cloister of the Castle of Caravaca de la Cruz hosts the exhibition 'Road to the inclution'.

The exhibition has been inaugurated by the mayor, José Moreno;

the general director of the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, Manuel Fernández-Delgado, the elder sister of the Brotherhood of Vera Cruz, Elisa María Giménez-Girón, and the president of Plena Inclusión Region of Murcia, Joaquín Barberá, accompanied by numerous users of the Association of Families of Persons with Intellectual Disability of the Northwest APCOM.

The exhibition brings together 35 paintings and sculptures, one for each year of Plena Inclusión Murcia history, which depict landscapes and monuments of the Camino de la Cruz de Levante, along its five stages, made by people with intellectual disabilities.

The mayor, José Moreno, wanted to congratulate Plena Inclusión Murcia for this initiative, which also has the support of the Tourism Institute, because it is another example of integration and inclusion in the 2017 Jubilee Year.

In the exhibition, which can be visited until December 19, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., people who receive support in centers of some of the 27 member entities of the federation Full inclusion Region of Murcia have participated.
