The deputy of the Socialist Parliamentary Group Choni Ludeña is going to present a motion in the Regional Assembly asking the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to urgently solve the deficiencies in human, material and space media that are supporting the students and faculty of Vocational Training Dual Degree "Footwear and fashion accessories", which is taught at the IES "Ginés Pérez Chirinos" of the town of Caravaca.

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, through its general director of Vocational Training and Teachings of Special Regime, announced last June the implementation of this new and demanded cycle in Caravaca.

Ludeña criticized that "Dual Vocational Training sold by the regional government for months and months is proving to be another measure based on improvisation and towing the school calendar."

In the opinion of the Socialist deputy, the policy of Vocational Training that for decades has been developed by the Regional Government of the Popular Party "lacks foresight, global and regional planning of the public educational offer, as well as sufficient funding, human resources and necessary materials" .

The Socialist Parliamentary Group has denounced "the lack of interest and political commitment on the part of the regional government to establish a" public and dynamic "school map of the real needs of the Educational Centers in our Community.

Choni Ludeña stressed "the need without delay of an X-ray of the current situation, which serves as a basis to establish a training strategy in FP, localized and farsighted".

For the socialist deputy, "is unacceptable situation that are living students IES Ginés Perez Chirinos of Caravaca de la Cruz who are enrolled for the first time this specialty of Vocational Training Dual Middle Grade."

He added that there is no justification for starting a very necessary project for the area with a lack of teachers, absence of machinery and specific material for the practices, without space and without the necessary furniture in the center, "provoking not only the indignation of the students and the concern of the Management Team, but also, producing the abandonment of students who decided to enroll in the face of the huge demand of entrepreneurs in the sector ".
