The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz has published the regulatory bases and the call to apply for the financial aid included in the Plan for Business Promotion and Employment for the 2017 financial year. The grants are aimed at people who start a business project in the municipality and to companies, new or incorporated, that hire at least one worker.

Councilor for the areas of Employment and Finance, Julia Giménez, explained that, continuing the line of the last two years, "these aids seek to foster entrepreneurial dynamism as an essential factor to boost economic growth through generation of new employment and wealth opportunities. "

For each contract of indefinite duration to full day will be granted a subsidy of up to 1,000 euros, with a limit of five workers.

The aid for new business will be 1,000 euros (general unemployed) and 1,300 euros (unemployed under 30, over 45, disabled or victims of gender violence).

The general requirements for access to the aid reflected in the Plan for Business Promotion and Employment are to start the business or the contract of new worker from January 2017 and that the new company or the contracting company develops its activity in the municipality of Caravaca.

Also, the self-employed must have been enrolled in the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) until the start of the activity and with tax registration and Social Security prior to the submission of the application for assistance.

Newly hired workers must also have remained enrolled in the SEF.

In addition to its publication in the BORM, the bases are available for consultation at www.caravaca.org, as well as at the Municipal Employment, Training and Equality Center, at the Local Development Office and at the Employment Center of the Youth Center .

Applications, together with the required documentation, can be submitted until December 1 at the General Registry of the City Council or through any of the mechanisms established by Law 30/92.
