The purifiers of Los Royos, in rehabilitation, El Moral, of next execution, and El Moralejo, recently executed;

Had to be undertaken when the general station of Caravaca was built and the collector of most of the districts.

The work carried out in the old wastewater treatment plant in Los Royos consists of the rehabilitation of the facilities taking advantage of the existing civil works, equipping them with new equipment.

The project began to be implemented last July and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

The councilman of Works, Agriculture and Environment, Enrique Fuentes, and the manager of the Sanitation and Purification Entity of the Region of Murcia (ESAMUR), Jesús Artero, visited the work in the hamlet of Los Royos, budgeted at more than 160,000 Euros.

Fuentes said that "This is a very demanded action by the neighbors and the City Council itself, since the plant was for many years deteriorated and reform had to be undertaken at the same time as the water treatment plant in Caravaca and the collector of districts ".

ESAMUR has already awarded the project for the rehabilitation of the purification station of El Moral, with an investment of more than 150,000 euros.

With the new actions is completed the Plan of Debugging and Sanitation of the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz, developed by the Public Entity of Regional Sanitation in charge of executing the projects.

The financing will be made from the sanitation fee that we pay all on the water bill.

That the Autonomous Community of Murcia fulfills its obligation as regional administration is not merit of the PP, since these are economic resources belonging to all Murcia and, therefore, also of the caravaqueños.
