In September, work will begin on the purification plant of El Moral, with a budget of 150,000 euros
The hamlet of Los Royos will have a new water treatment plant, thanks to the comprehensive rehabilitation of the current facilities.
The Councilor for Works and the Environment in the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, Enrique Fuentes, and the managing director of the Sanitation and Treatment of the Region of Murcia (Esamur), Jesús Artero, visited this work, which has Budget of more than 160,000 euros.
"This is a very demanded action by the neighbors and by the City Council itself, since the treatment plant was for years very deteriorated and its reform had to be undertaken at the same time as the purification plant in Caravaca and the collector of districts", according to Has reported Enrique Fuentes.
The work consists of the rehabilitation of the facilities, with capacity for more than 160 equivalent inhabitants, taking advantage of the existing civil works, but providing them with new equipment and electro-mechanical installations.
The project began to be implemented last July and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
On the other hand, the Sanitation and Purification Entity of the Region of Murcia has already awarded the project for the rehabilitation of the sewage treatment plant in El Moral, with a budget of more than 150,000 euros.
