The City Council of Caravaca, in coordination with Unipublic, has deployed a special traffic and security device to guarantee the proper development of the test
The tenth stage of 'The Tour of Spain' starts tomorrow, Tuesday 29 August, from Caravaca de la Cruz, as part of the parallel activities organized on the occasion of the Jubilee Year 2017. The more than 200 runners, belonging to the 22 best teams At the international level, will take the departure at 13.00, directed to the factory 'ElPozo', located in the municipality of Alhama de Murcia.
The stage 'Caravaca Jubilar Year-El Pozo Alimentación', with a total route of 171 kilometers, will travel in the first place several places of the urban helmet and some the districts.
After taking the exit on Avenida de la Constitución, cyclists will pass through the second section of Gran Vía, Maruja Garrido avenue and Granada road, continuing through the districts of Los Prados, Pinilla and La Almudema, direction Lorca.
It will be a stage of transition, conducive to an escape, which will close with the ascent of Collado Bermejo.
The caravan of 'La Vuelta' will be in Caravaca from 11.00 am, located in the extension of the Gran Vía, next to Pedro García-Esteller Park.
In the same location, the exit zone, the permanent office, the press room and the 'Parque Vuelta' will be located, with animation and stands of the sponsoring firms.
The Councilor for Sports in the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, Antonio Donate, thanked both Unipublic, organizer of 'La Vuelta', and 'El Pozo', Murcia company sponsor of the stage, the trust deposited in Caravaca de la Cruz to be the start of the tenth stage, coinciding with the celebration of the Jubilee Year 2017, "since it is one of the most popular sport events and with greater roots and repercussions of all those celebrated in Spain, with an important international media coverage" .

Traffic and safety device
The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, in coordination with Unipublic, has deployed a special traffic and citizen security device, which will begin today with the cut of some streets in the urban center.
In addition to the safety devices of the Vuelta itself, 32 Local Police and Civil Guard will be provided, reinforced by about 40 Civil Protection volunteers.
During the day today, Monday, August 28, will be cut to the traffic avenue of the Constitution and the adjacent streets Maestro Juan San Martin, Maestro Juan Saravia, Maestro Enrique Richard, Mother Maria Rosa Molas and Clara Campoamor.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 29 of August, the cut will extend to the route (Gran Via, Maruja Garrido, Templete and avenue of Granada).
The caravan will begin the tour at 12.00 and the riders will cross the starting line at 13.00.
