The City Council of Caravaca launched an information point to bring the line of subsidies of the Housing Plan to the neighbors municipality and facilitate their processing

Representatives of associations of a social nature of the municipality have met in the Plenary Hall of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz to know the new call for aid to rent, included in the line of subsidies of the Housing Plan 2017, signed at the end of July the Regional Executive and the Government of Spain and that is endowed with 4.5 million euros for this year.

The event was attended by the Mayor of the Cross, José Moreno;

Laura Sandoval, Director General of Territorial Planning, Architecture and Housing of the Autonomous Community, and Urbanism Councilor in the Caravaqueño Consistory, Enrique Fuentes.

The latter has reported that the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz launched on Tuesday in June and July an office of citizen's attention, in order to bring the information of the Housing Plan 2017 to all neighbors and neighbors. "El Technician responsible for this service has informed and facilitated the processing of aid for rent and building rehabilitation to a total of 121 people, "explained Enrique Fuentes.

The aids for the rental of housing are up to 200 euros per month to pay the rent for a maximum period of 12 months and will be granted for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2017, adapting its concession to the validity of the contract Rent of housing.

In this way, families can receive a maximum of 2,400 euros per year, which is up to 40 percent of the annual rent of a home.

These aids only refer to the rental of the property and are excluded the payment of the garage, storage and community expenses, among other concepts.

They are aimed at families with less economic resources to facilitate access to housing.

Preference is given to large families, women victims of gender-based violence, persons with disabilities, people affected by evictions or subject to measures to make mortgage foreclosure more flexible, among other social groups.

The deadline for requesting the aids for rental ends on August 21 and the information of the call can be accessed through the municipal website caravaca.org.
