Caravaca de la Cruz promotes the Jubilee Year 2017 and other tourist resources of the municipality coinciding with the 57th edition of the 'International Festival Cante de las Minas', La Union.
The City Council of La Unión has ceded to the Consistorio Caravaqueño a space in the avenue of Flamenco, place where the thousands of people who during one week attend one of the flamenco festivals more outstanding to world-wide level.
In the stand, information about the Jubilee Year, as well as the rest of heritage, cultural, religious, natural and gastronomic attractions of the municipality is disseminated.
This initiative is part of the agreement for the realization of joint actions framed in the celebrations of the Jubilee Year 2017 and the International Festival of the Cante de Las Minas, which last June signed the mayors of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, and The Union, Pedro López.
The purpose of this agreement was to establish a mutual collaboration between municipalities to improve the promotion of both events and to enrich their respective cultural programs.
