The 'Typical' work announced for this Saturday is postponed for reasons other than the City of Caravaca
The comedy arrives today, Thursday 27, at the XXXVII Theater Week of Caravaca de la Cruz with 'Heroes', a work of the Basque company Txalo Producciones, directed by Tamzin Townsend and interpreted by Juan Gea, Luis Varela and Iñaki Miramón.
The performance will start at 10.30 pm, at the Thuillier Theater.
Heroes by Gerald Sibleyras is a hilarious and touching story in which the spectator encounters three war veterans who spend their last days in a military hospital engaged in verbal battles of forgotten military campaigns, criticizing Sister Madeleine and reflecting on their lives.
Henri has a disabled leg, Gustave suffers from agoraphobia and Philippe suffers from fainting caused by a piece of shrapnel lodged in his brain.
His camaraderie becomes tense when Gustave proposes an 'escape'.
The Caravaca de la Cruz Theater Week will continue tomorrow, Friday, July 28, with the work of David Mamet 'Oleanna', starring Fernando Guillén Cuervo and Natalia Sánchez, from the theatrical companies Txalo Producciones and Pentación.
The work 'Typical', announced for this Saturday, July 29, is finally postponed for reasons beyond the Town Hall of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The company Nacho Vilar Producciones communicated to the Department of Culture the impossibility of celebrating this representation on the due date due to medical reasons of one of the actors of the cast, being postponed for next September.
The activities for the children's audience framed in the Week of Theater are taken this year to the sports centers, with simultaneous and free storytelling on Sunday, July 30, at 8 pm in the clubs 'Hípico', 'Argos' , 'La Loma'.
Individuals who are not members of these clubs can access prior withdrawal of the invitation at the Youth Center, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday.
Early entries for works scheduled at the Thuillier theater can be purchased at New Jewelery, with reduced prices for retirees and students, and before each performance at the Thuillier theater box office.
All performances start at 10.30 pm, at the Thuillier Theater, except for the storytellers.
