Fernando Guillén Cuervo, Olivia Molina, Natalia Sánchez, Elisa Mantilla, Juan Gea and Luis Varela are some of the actors and actresses who during the last week of July will go through the stage of the Theater Week in Caravaca de la Cruz, Organized by the Department of Culture of the Consistory Caravaqueño, which is its thirty-seventh edition.
The XXXVII Theater Week in Caravaca, one of the most important festivals in the Region of Murcia and the oldest in the national panorama, starts on Monday, July 24, at the Thuillier Theater, with the staging of the tragicomedy Directed by Juan Luis Iborra, 'Gibraltareña', carried out by Elisa Matilla.
On Tuesday, June 25th, the curtain of Thuillier will open with 'Tristana', the adaptation of the novel by Benito Pérez Galdós, which features in his cast with Olivia Molina, Alejandro Arestegui, Diana Palazón and Pere Ponce, from the company ' Sequence 3 '.
The play Federico García Lorca 'Yerma' is the title scheduled for Wednesday, July 26, by the company Murcia 'Double K Theater', under the direction of Alfredo Zamora.
The hilarious and moving story 'Heroes', starring three veterans, will be staged on Thursday, June 27, directed by Tamzin Townsend and played by Juan Gea, Luis Varela and Iñaki Miramón.
The assembly is of the Basque company Txalo Producciones.
On Friday, July 28, it will be the turn of the work of David Mamet 'Oleanna', starring Fernando Guillén Cuervo and Natalia Sánchez, from the theatrical companies Txalo Producciones and Pentación.
On Saturday, July 29th, the theater takes to the streets with the representation 'Typical', which will take the spectator to the topics and classics of the decade of the seventies.
It is a show by Nacho Vilar Producciones, which will take place on the Paseo de La Corredera, at 9:00 p.m., with free access.
The activities for the children's audience of the Theater Week this year are taken to the sports centers, with simultaneous storytelling on Sunday, July 30, at 8 pm in the clubs' Hípico ',' Argos', 'La Loma ', in order to bring the theater closer to the many boys and girls that this time are concentrated in its facilities.
Non-members may access prior withdrawal of the invitation at the Youth Center.
The announcing poster of the XXXVII Theater Week of Caravaca de la Cruz has been made by the artist from the province of Francisco Rivero.
Early tickets can be purchased at New Jewelery, with reduced prices for retirees and students, and before the performances at the Thuillier theater box office.
All works will start at 10.30 pm at the Thuillier Theater, with the exception of Saturday's work and storytelling.
