Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín and Calasparra will have a joint presence at the Interior and Rural Tourism Fair (Intur), which will be celebrated from tomorrow until next Sunday in the city of Valladolid.
This was announced by the mayors of the three municipalities, who have highlighted the union and cooperation that exist between the respective town halls to put in value in rich cultural, natural and gastronomic heritage of these territories of the Northwest Region.
The stand, of 52 square meters, is decorated with images of the main tourist resources of each municipality and has a workspace to keep meetings with the professionals of the sector who will meet in this edition of INTUR.
In addition, tastings of the most representative gastronomic products, such as yolks, rice, wine or cheese produced in this area, will be offered.
"As happened at the last edition of the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (FITUR), the three city councils thought from the outset that we should have a prominent presence in this tourism event, as we feed in much of rural tourism" , Explained the mayor of the city, José Moreno, who announced that the participation in the fair will be complemented by a presentation of the Jubilee Year 2017 and the offer of the three municipalities in the City Hall of Valladolid.
This year marks 20 editions of Intur, the reference fair for tourism in the interior, where the traveler finds cultural, nature, gastronomic plans, musical, literary, cinematographic, theater, or rural destinations.
Municipalities of most of the Spanish autonomous communities will present INTUR's tourist proposals for the interior.
In addition, on November 24 and 25 will be held a new edition of INTUR Business, the recruitment market in which professionals from the domestic and international markets establish business relationships.
