The delegation in Caravaca de la Cruz of the Spanish Association for the fight against cancer initiates a new stage with the renewal of its managerial positions.
The president of this association during the last 25 years, Francisco Jiménez, ceded the witness to Mª Encarnación Lag, who presented himself to the Caravaqueña society, accompanied by a large group of people.
The presentation of the new board of directors included the participation of the mayor of the city, José Moreno, and the Councilor for Social Services, Mª José Soria, who thanked the altruistic work of Francisco Jiménez at the head of the Association to fight against Cancer and showed their full support to the new team, ready to work to prevent, raise awareness, accompany people and fund cancer research projects that allow better diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
Also present at the Aula de Cultura de Cajamurcia was the president of the AECC provincial board of Murcia, Agustín Navarrete.
The new board of directors, headed by María Encarnación Lag, has as vice-presidents Mercedes Rubio and Francisco Marín, as secretaries to Antonia Sánchez and Mª Rosa Martínez and as treasurers to Mónica Celdrán Talavera and Mónica Pérez-Castejón.
They integrate the different vowels of the caravaqueños: Ana Lag, Loli Usero, Adela Giménez, Consagra Muñoz, Paco Jiménez, Angelica Martínez, Inma Roca, Maribel Celdrán, Mª Carmen Torralba, Marielo Alarte, Mariana Iborra, María José Polo, Gloria López, Juani García , Encarna Lag, Ana Isabel Sánchez, María José López, Antonia María Sánchez, Ana Belén Sánchez, Encarna Marín, Ana Martínez, Pura Battú, Isabel Rigabert, Inma Martínez, Ana Caro, Mª Isabel Martínez, Loli Marín, Mª Carmen Lag, Gloria Palomares and Mª Carmen Reina.
