The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz will urge the Ministry of Justice to make improvements to the facilities of the courts with headquarters in the municipality and initiate the necessary actions to build a city of Justice.

The agreement has been unanimously adopted by all political groups, following the proposal raised to the last plenum by the Government team.

The current courts have obsolete facilities, small and inadequate, given the amount of services provided to the residents of the Northwest Region and given the volume of people who daily work and make use of the facilities.

Since 2007, it is the Consistory itself that assumes the rent of the property that houses the court number 3, in order that the Judicial Party of Caravaca de la Cruz is not harmed, although it is not the proper obligation of The local administration.

In another order of business, the proposal of the Municipal People's Group was also approved at the last plenum, with the support of all the political groups, to urge the regional government to investigate the existence or not of anti-rain light aircraft in fields.

Likewise, the motion of the Municipal Socialist Group on the digitization of the audiovisual archives of Telecaravaca and its assignment to the City Council of Caravaca came forward, with the favorable votes of all the parties represented in the Plenary.

Another proposal discussed and unanimously approved at the last ordinary plenary session was the creation of a special commission on Caravaca Jubilar SA, El Roblecillo and UTE Caravaca, a proposal that was submitted to the plenary by the Municipal Group of Citizens.

Finally also came forward the motion of United Left regarding the suppression of educational offer of the Official Language School of Caravaca de la Cruz.

This point obtained green light with the favorable votes of PSOE, IU and Cs and the abstention of the popular ediles.

At the last plenary session, it was also approved that the monthly ordinary sessions be held on the last Monday of each month, at 8:00 p.m., or the next day in case of a holiday.

In the month of August there will be no plenary session.
