The Governing Council of the Region of Murcia has given its approval to the Regional Action Plan for Revitalization of Works and Services, which includes an investment of 6,835,676 euros to finance 66 performances in 41 municipalities of the Region of Murcia.
The Community shall contribute in this Plan with a total of 4,999,703 euros as beneficiaries municipalities make a global contribution of 1,835,972 euros.
In the case of Caravaca de la Cruz, the Regional Government will invest more than 220,000 euros to finance three projects submitted by the City Council.
The actions are the renovation of sidewalks on the road from Granada, in the section between Colon Street and Constitution Avenue, the work for which the regional government allocated 161,033 euros;
the renewal of street lighting in the main street of Pinilla and adjacent performance for which were awarded 31,006 euros, and renovation of public lighting in Noguericas of Archivel, endowed with 29,515 euros.
This plan, managed by the Ministry of the Presidency, focuses on improving basic infrastructure and facilities of the municipalities in the Murcia region of less than 50,000 inhabitants.
The regional government considers this line of local funding as a key instrument of economic cooperation in which the Community contributes to improved delivery of services local competition, to help improve their infrastructures of municipalities.
