The Second Conference on Educational Innovation Northwest (25/10/2016)

They come back to our region the Second Conference on Educational Innovation entitled 'Ideas to teach' and back again bring a roster of speakers from the front line.

Issues such as the connection between intelligence and emotion, creativity in the classroom or family involvement in education will be the protagonists of these days.

Of course, this successful participation is a reflection of an extraordinary organization.

The work that managers of this event schools are doing is commendable and worthy of praise.

In these times, it is difficult to mobilize as many people as telematics and training its way strongly for its flexibility and user comfort.

Serve these lines to show my admiration for his work.

I would like to take to reflect on several aspects that occur in our centers.

The first in a row of emotional intelligence is the importance of working with routines that encourage thinking.

The day teachers day we work with our students about the contents of different subjects and evaluated its acquisition, but the fact that I miss in educating our children to know, know how they feel, to control their emotions, be assertive and empathetic with other colleagues.

In many cases the success of a group 'function' is academically in interpersonal relationships has.

It is therefore essential to observe them in areas such as physics, where through play children demonstrate as they are, or how they interact in the recreations Education.

Dynamic as sociograms are of great value in the early going to know these aspects and then you can successfully establish cooperative work in the classroom.

A second aspect to highlight, go on the line of the paper entitled Bona Caesar 'Schools that are changing the world'.

More and more schools that have understood that work content in a context of context for students through rote learning results in a timely and decrepit learning.

Useless if that learning is not significant for our students, it is approached from an interesting and close to them context, the 'thrill' and can use it in your daily life.

Ultimately, that will be helpful and motivating.

And to do it with not only the background but the shape is important and why we fled, increasingly, the repetitive learning and their assessment through the mythical 'tests' at the end of unit.

There is another way to present that content such as performing portfolios, comics, theater plays, or television advertisements between an infinite number of proposals.

Finally, we must also provide them with greater responsibility in the classroom using techniques such as 'peer assessment' or the increasingly used 'class backwards' (Flipped Classroom), where the concept of 'duties' as is transformed as we know.

students are studying the contents at home and then in class to work directly on them and resolve doubts raised, thus the 'master class' gives way to a greater role of the student on their learning.

The sum of all these and many more factors and effective involvement of families in the education of their children, will result in a real change in our classrooms, in our students and in our society of the XXI century.
