The Municipal Office of Complaints and suggestions has attended during the first half of the year a total of 408 requests from neighbors with a resolution rate of 83.2%, as it appears from the report drawn up by the Department of Transparency and Public Participation City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
Of the total of formalized requests, in person or by telematic means, corresponding to 189 complaints, of which 170 have been resolved;
47 suggestions, of which 36 have been treated favorably, 2 are acknowledgments and 170 are different types of online consultations.
Considering communications received in the first six months of this year, the issues of concern or focus the attention of citizens are, in this order: street cleaning and solar;
maintenance of parks and gardens;
dog droppings on public roads and road signs and public safety.
The councilwoman who heads the area of ​​transparency and citizen participation, Gloria Gómez, has positively assessed the balance of operation of the Office of Complaints and suggestions, although he pointed out that we must continue working to avoid duplication and make more agile communication and internal coordination between departments, which will shorten response times.
In this regard, he recalled "the City, as next administration should seek direct channels of participation."
The public opening hours of the Office of Citizen Participation, Complaints and Suggestions is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8.30 to 11.00 and from 11.30 to 13.00.
