The foundation has majority capital of Murcia companies, which gain tax benefits by contributing to the dissemination and positioning of Jubilee 2017
After the constituent meeting of last May, the Executive Committee of the Way of the Cross Foundation today met to plan the next actions aimed at promoting the Jubilee Year 2017 positioning Caravaca de la Cruz as a destination for religious tourism .
To the Museum of the Feast of Caravaca de la Cruz they have moved the mayor, José Moreno;
the older sister of the Brotherhood of the Cross, Elisa Giménez-Giron, and the director of the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, Manuel Fernández-Delgado, who have welcomed all who make up the committee.
"From City of Caravaca de la Cruz thank the companies that are part of the foundation of its firm commitment to a project, such as the Jubilee Year 2017, which not only deludes the people of Caravaca but the whole of the Region of Murcia" , he stressed José Moreno.
The mayor has detailed that during this first working meeting of the committee analyzed the actions taken to date in promoting and have put on the table new content, thanks to the collaboration between government and private companies, will the light in the coming months.
The 'Way of the Cross' is a private foundation, with majority capital of Murcia companies.
The organizations that compose it are Cafes Salzillo, Desserts and Sweets Reina, Limcamar, Hefame, El Pozo, Estrella de Levante and University Foundation San Antonio (UCAM).
The foundation's mission is to work in coordination with the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the other administrations in the promotion and enhancement of the Jubilee Year 2017. Companies that are part of the same will get the tax benefits included in the Budget State until 30 June 2018, to carry out actions to support patronage mentioned event.
