More than 400 players, twenty Spanish clubs come together next weekend, 17, 18 and 19 June, in Caravaca de la Cruz to contest the second edition of the Tomir Cup.
Councillor for Sports in the caravaqueño Consistory, Antonio Donate, informed, along with the tournament organizers Mariano Oyonarte, José Carlos Gozalbes and Pedro Israel Alcárzar, this Friday will reach the town of fingerlings categories of Atletico Madrid, Valencia CF, Real Betis, Villarreal CF, Málaga CF, Granada CF, RCD Spanish, Elche CF, Albacete, Beniaján CF, EFB Castrum, ADM Lorquí, Cartagena FC-UCAM "A" and "B" CD Isol, Club San Jorge, Mar Menor CF and Villa de Fortuna.
The hosts will be the teams of the Municipal School Football Team Caravaca and Regional Northwest and Mula River.
The tournament will open with an act of submission, in which the various participating teams will cross the Gran Vía, from square to square Pim Paco del Arco, and will be welcomed in the Hall of City Hall.
The organizers have thanked the cooperation of the various sponsoring companies and the City of Caravaca for holding the Tomir Cup, a competition that with only two editions already ranks among the tournaments leading grassroots football in Spain, both by number of players and the level of the participating clubs.
In this sense, Antonio Donate stressed that such events promote sports tourism in the municipality and are positive for the local economy, especially for the hospitality sector.
"Between players and family will be about a thousand people who move to Caravaca next weekend," he said.
The mayor of Sports also wanted to encourage football fans to the Northwest Region attending the city 'El Morao'.
Admission is 5 euros and can be purchased in Sport, Sports Vima area and at the box office.
With it, the fan will have access to the football field throughout the weekend.
