Caravaca hosts the presentation of regional competitions held by the V Day Local History (06/06/2016)

The Society of Jesus hosted the ceremony of the three youth competitions held on the occasion of V 'Day Local History', by the Foundation Center for Historical Studies and Commercial Research in the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Integra Foundation, the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, Crespo Perez Payá Foundation and the chair Juan Torres Fontes.

Multimedia in the V Contest 'Images and sounds of our identity', which is part of the Digital Heritage project of the Autonomous Community, 106 students participated Secondary Education and Special Education, who presented a total of 250 content.

The contest on historical narrative, aimed at students in secondary and high schools centers of the Region of Murcia, was free fiction, but set in monuments, places, events or people in the region.

This event featured a special category, in which the best story contextualized in Caravaca de la Cruz was awarded.

Finally, the "Research" award was also presented, along with the Pérez Crespo Foundation.

The councilman of Culture, Oscar Martinez, recalled that these three events were held in December last year, coinciding with the celebration in Caravaca Regional Day of Local History and the aim of which has been personal development and academic students through historical culture and promoting the knowledge of our region.

In the V Contest Multimedia "Images and sounds of our identity" students winners were within the 'Photography', Nuria González (IES Samaniego Sewer), Alejandro Fernandez Segura (IES Francisco de Goya de Molina de Segura), Sandra Sanchez Dominguez (IES John of the Cross of Caravaca), Julian Sanchez Abellán (IES John of the Cross of Caravaca), Ali Hellali Toledo (Special Education Center Virgen de la Esperanza de Jumilla) and Oscar Alejandro Sedano Porro (Master D. Eusebio Martinez Sewer).

In the 'Sounds', the awards were for Isabel Olmos Pastor (IES Infante Don Juan Manuel de Murcia), Simon Martinez Marin ( "La Milagrosa" Totana), Soraya Garcia Dominguez (IES Francisco de Goya de Molina de Segura) Francisco Vazquez Lucas (IES Diego Tortosa Cieza).

Also it received special mention caravaqueño Antonio Lopez Sevilla, IES John of the Cross.

V Award in the historical narrative, the selected works were performed by students Lizón Leopoldo Diaz (IES Infante Don Juan Manuel de Mucius) and Adrian Garcia Castellon (IES Francisco de Goya de Molina de Segura).

accésits Orenes Alcaraz Candela (IES Infante Don Juan Manuel de Murcia), Luis Mendoza Perona (IES Saavedra Fajardo de Murcia), Jaime Navarro López (IES Saavedra Fajardo de Murcia) were delivered.

The Research Award Antonio Perez Crespo Mondejar went to Gloria Sanchez, Francisco de Goya Institute of Molina, for his work 'The first women in politics in the Region of Murcia.
