Caravaca de la Cruz has become one of the 40 Spanish cities that have hosted the 'Volunteer Day La Caixa', with a playful-educational seminar, organized with the collaboration of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
More than 150 children from different parts of the Murcia region have gathered in the natural setting of the Fuentes del Marqués to participate in a lunch and art workshops, sports, cultural and environmental activities.
This activity has been directed at minors or vulnerable social exclusion.
The councilors of Social Services and Youth, Maria Jose Soria and Esther Poveda, respectively, thanked the team of more than twenty volunteers collaboration for this initiative 'Volunteer Day La Caixa', which this year has been focused on the attention in childhood, has been implemented in the locality.
