The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Moreno, along with the councilman of Social Services, Maria Jose Soria, met with officials of "la Caixa" to encourage volunteerism in the municipality and finalize preparations for the recreational and educational journey, which will take place this Saturday, June 4, in the place of the Fuentes del Marqués.

By "la Caixa", the meeting was attended by the president of the Association of Volunteers in Murcia, Carmelo Lopez;

the representative in Caravaca, Emilio Martinez, and territorial management of the Banking Foundation in Murcia and Alicante, Lourdes Toribio, who showed their willingness to promote art workshops, sports, cultural and environmental activities that contribute to the development of children in vulnerable situations or social exclusion.

The mayor expressed his gratitude to "la Caixa" because Caravaca de la Cruz is one of the 40 Spanish cities on Saturday held the Volunteer Day "la Caixa", an activity that focuses mainly on child care.
