La Singla Sports Association, in collaboration with the Department of Sports City of Caravaca and D'Genes Association, held on Sunday March 13th the "IV March for Rare Diseases', starting and finishing in the place of the sources Marquis.
The march has several competitive modes: walking and running race, with a distance of 18 kilometers trails, and BXM up with a circuit of 40 kilometers.
Councilman Sports, Antonio Donate, he wanted to emphasize the solidarity character of this test: "It promotes sports in nature, but also an important component of social commitment."
'Part of the share of each participant is addressed to the Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes, which aims for support those affected and their families in the absence of information and in many cases diagnostic and encourage research and services that improve the quality of life of patients, "said the head of the Municipal Department of Sports, who was accompanied during the presentation by representatives of the Sports Association Singla, Sergio Sanchez, Jose Antonio Sanchez and Ana Perez.
The march is part of sports, cultural and social activities planned at the regional level on the occasion of Rare Disease Day, a date that is intended to give visibility to the pathologies of low prevalence and awareness of the problems they face the affected.
In the IV March for Rare Diseases will have the first trophy in each category, both the male and the female three.
All runners who completed the test will receive a T-shirt with the image of the march.
The organization also made numerous prize draws among attendees donated by companies and partner firms.
Entries can be formalized until March 8 through the web portal www.cronomur.es.
The organization provides the option of reduced enrollment for adults and children who do not compete price, but want to participate in the fellowship meal and collaborate with the charitable purpose of the event.
Similarly, the activity will be complemented by a children gymkhana in Las Fuentes, which is scheduled for 10:00 am, which will consist of a series of tests based on the values ​​of solidarity, equality and respect, aimed at children aged between 4 and 12 years.
