The Local Coordination Committee against Gender Violence has met this morning to plan new measures on prevention and take stock of the actions taken in recent months.
It was chaired by the head of the Domestic Violence Unit of the Government Office, Vanessa Fructuoso, and by Council of Social Services, Maria Jose Soria, and Public Safety, Traffic and Emergency Pedro Antonio Muñoz.
'This panel study guidelines and measures for victims feel fully supported and enhanced coordination and skills, so that every professional knows how to act at all times ", as reported by the mayor of Social Services, Mª José Soria.
In this body are represented stakeholders in the fight against gender violence and direct and indirect care to victims, as the Government Office, the City of Caravaca, through its departments of Social Services, Education and Safety citizen, the Security Forces, the Court of Instance number 1, the Employment Service and Training (SEF), Center staff Victim (CAVI) and social workers of the Regional Hospital Northwest Center Mental Health and the Commonwealth of Social Services.
Guidance departments caravaqueños institutes also participate.
The Local Board against Gender Violence has among its main objectives the study and implementation of educational and awareness measures, to improve the early detection of cases and provide a quick and effective response to victims.
