The calendar prior to the conclusion of the festivities activities begins this Saturday, February 20, with the 'Festive Concert' that jointly offer the musical group Caravaca de la Cruz and Coral Banyeres de Mariola Alicante.
This performance will take place in Halls Castillo de la Cruz, from 20.00, with free admission until full capacity.
The Coral Mariola began his career in the early seventies and has extensive experience in the polyphonic singing both religious and profane.
He has participated in numerous exchanges with other formations of choral music and has collaborated in concerts with various musical groups.
It has also put voice to various Moors and Christians, like those of Alcoy or Paterna.
Saturday's performance will be directed by Carlos Domenech Moses Miró.
The musical group of Caravaca de la Cruz holds the holidays recognition 'Festero of the Year, awarded by the Commission of Celebrations.
On this occasion, the band will perform under the direction of Victor Manuel Rodrigo Garcia, who took over from Francisco García Alcázar in September last year.
Rodrigo García was formed in the conservatories of Valencia and Murcia and has a degree in Concertista specializing in Trumpet ABRSM.
He has been principal trumpet of the Baroque Orchestra of Valencia, trumpet of the Symphony Orchestra of Murcia and has belonged to different chamber groups, with which he has performed throughout the Spanish geography, as well as France, England, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
The concert is organized by the Association itself Musical Caravaca de la Cruz, in collaboration with the Department of Celebration and Celebration Committee of the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of Vera Cruz.
