The councilors for Urbanism and Public Works and Maintenance led by M�nica S�nchez and Jos� Antonio Garc�a, respectively, have completed a series of actions in different spaces and public facilities for a global amount of 50,000 euros to guarantee a better service to the neighbors.
From the Caravaca City Council, in addition to the actions of the new Works and Services Plan financed with 542,347 euros and in the contracting phase, maintenance and improvement actions are carried out on a permanent basis to progressively cover, with the resources available at all times, needs and deficiencies transferred by the neighbors themselves.
In the urban area, actions have been taken in several streets.
On the slope of Los Molinos, the intervention carried out between the months of November and December consisted of the repair of a 135 linear meter section of pavement, including the lifting of pavement, curbs, replacements of fords and renovation of the drinking water network.
This work has had an amount of 12,282 euros.
In the Paseo de La Corredera, the works, with an amount of 5,227 euros, have focused on the demolition of the six circular concrete structures that surrounded the old trees, replacing the tree pits with paving stone at the level of the floor.
Likewise, the trees have been replaced, planting the banana species that is in the rest of the walk and replacing the drip irrigation system.
These tasks took place from December 5 to 12.
On Calle del Hoyo and in the vicinity of the Plaza de los Caballos del Vino, patching and regularization of the paving has been carried out in specific sections of the street, where the pavement was worst.
Likewise, the base of the Caballo del Vino monument has been renovated, using natural stone and Corten steel.
The amount of this action has been about 15,000 euros.
In the dependencies of the Las Fuentes del Marqu�s shelter and in response to a lack in Caravaca, this space has been equipped with a kitchen to improve the facility and that it can serve needs in terms of social services in a timely manner.
This action, quantified at 5,260 euros, is included in the aid of the COVID-19 contingency funds, which are managed through the Commonwealth of Social Services and requested by the Caravaca City Council.

In Canalica Street, the steps have been removed and the paving has been replaced to improve accessibility.
Finally, the El Moralejo Social Center has carried out interior pavement repair work and adaptation of the kitchen, as well as the supply of machinery and equipment for the adaptation of this kitchen.
All these tasks have imported a total of 12,036 euros.
