José Francisco García has confirmed that at the moment there are no positive cases in the municipality, since the tests carried out by health personnel have been negative.

"Precisely by trying to maintain the lowest level of contagion, we put these decisions into action. We understand that they are difficult measures with a negative impact on the local economy, but it is better to anticipate the problem and take a step back in our life habits in the coming weeks, avoiding overcrowding and contagion risk situations ", José Francisco García has argued.

The closure affects facilities such as the Municipal House of Culture and Library, the Conservatory of Music and Dance, which also suspends its classes, Youth Center, Local Employment and Women's Center, 24-hour Study Room, Caravaca Sports Center, municipal nurseries, centers for the elderly in Caravaca, Archivel and Barranda, network of museums, facilities and all sports halls, the urban area and the districts.

"The municipal centers, including the City Council, will be with the workers doing their job, but we ask that they only go in case of real need to them," added the mayor.

The suspension of classes by the Autonomous Community in the educational centers begins next Monday.

The weekly market for next Monday is also canceled.
