The Councilor for Celebrations and Culture at the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, Juan Manuel de León, and the peddler of Archivel, Francisco Javier López, have presented the program of the Santa Bárbara de Archivel festivities, accompanied by the queen of 2019, Fatima Garcia, as well as the young women who accompany her in her court of honor and a representation of the Festival Committee.
Both the councilor of Festivities and the pediatrician wanted to thank the work developed by the components of the Festival Committee, "a young team, excited and committed to their people, without whose help we could not carry out this programming."
They also called for participation, "because Archivel celebrates its great days and we are all welcome."
In the Hall of Plenary of the Consistory, all the cultural, recreational, gastronomic and religious events that will take place from Saturday, November 30, with the 'Coronation Gala', to Sunday December 8, were announced. They will culminate with the 'Fiesta Flúor'.
The big day will be on December 4, Santa Barbara Day, with the traditional offering, mass and float parade.
Archivel begins tomorrow, Saturday 16, the activities prior to its management parties with the competition 'Crazy Cars', which in recent years has gained great popularity and participation.
The cars will be exposed in the Plaza, at 12.30 pm, and the race will start at 3 pm.
At the end of the day, the 'Racing Festival Archivel' will be held at the Social Center, with the participation of different DJs.
