Exhibition and sale of vehicles and agricultural machinery by the hand of more than 20 companies and the best of the gastronomy and crafts of the land will meet at the Caravaca Fair, which is held on October 18, 19 and 20 , covered by a complete and varied program of activities.
The mayor, José Francisco García, and the Councilor responsible for Commerce, Ana Belén Martínez, have presented this event, together with representatives of the different groups and associations involved in their organization, among which the new local association of the automotive sector stands out 'Asacar', the regional association for the promotion of hospitality and gastronomy 'Asprocomur' and the Band of the Wine Horses.
"The union is strength and we have made an effort to join wills, work as a team and adapt this long-standing fair to the new times," said José Francisco García, who referred to the history and commercial and business potential of Caravaca de the Cross as head of the Northwest Region and area of ​​influence for numerous population centers of neighboring provinces "so this fair, whose first written references date back to 1500, still makes a lot of sense."
On the other hand, from the Asacar association they highlighted their satisfaction with the thrust that the fair is experiencing in this edition, "with the direct participation of about twenty companies in the sector, which generate about 300 direct stable jobs and that will take the street about 300 cars and agricultural machinery to make visible that it is a very lively and key sector for the local economy, "in the words of businessman José de la Cruz López.
The mayor of Commerce had words of appreciation for all the people involved in the organization "for the good harmony and willingness to work in this event that benefits the commercial and business sector of Caravaca".

The 2019 Caravaca Fair will start on Friday, October 18 and end on Sunday.

Within the program of activities, there is the Fair of Agricultural Machinery and Automotive, the gastronomic event 'The kitchens of the jubilee' that sponsors the Camino de la Cruz Foundation, the Antiques, Collectibles and Second Hand Market, the exhibition of classic vehicles, the equestrian competition of dressage and children's attractions.
For the first time in the program of the Caravaca Fair, the events of the Romería del Bando de los Caballos del Vino are integrated and the concerts of the festive venue with group 'Bombay' and DJ Carrie Palmer, which will perform on Saturday, October 19 , at 23.00, with free access.
