The Councilor for Agriculture, Livestock and Pedanías in the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Antonio García, held a meeting with the general director of Agricultural and Livestock Production of the Autonomous Community, Francisco José Espejo García, to request the support of the regional executive to the Segureño Lamb Fair, which will be held on November 2 and 3 in Archivel.
The mayor José Antonio García has explained that the objective of this fair that returns the village of Archivel "is that it has a greater enhancement and that it acquires regional character, since it is the only one of this theme that is celebrated within our Autonomous Community".
He also recalled the fundamental role that extensive grazing livestock plays in the Northwest Region and in the rest of the regions that constitute the habitat of the Segureño Lamb.
The head of Agriculture and Livestock in the Consistory caravaqueño put on the table other issues related to the sector, such as the decree of ghouls, livestock activity licenses and grazing aid.
