From August 1 to September 1, the Department of Tourism of the Caravaqueño Consistory offers the program of theatrical night visits to the Castle of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The activity will take place every night, at 10 pm, from Tuesday to Sunday.
After fifteen editions, the night visits have become a classic caravaqueño summer activity, consolidated as a tourist, cultural and recreational proposal, aimed at all audiences.
Each summer the contents and characters change.
The title that frames the new story is 'Caught in time' and will be directed and represented by actors Toni Medina, Lola Salcedo and Jesús Martínez, accompanied by Luis and Irene Canto to the organ.
The tour of the Castle, declared a National Historic-Artistic Monument, is guided by peculiar and fun characters, who make references, in a humorous way, to episodes of the city's history.
In this edition, the protagonists live in the walled enclosure since the thirteenth century, when a sorceress performed one of their spells and time stopped for them until today.
Over the centuries, the king and the priest have become inseparable friends.
As the world evolves, the three main characters follow the same place, informed of the changes that occur abroad, but without contact with people, more than once a year, when the participants of the night visit arrive to know the Strength and its history.
Tickets are priced at 7 euros (general), 6 euros (minors and retirees), 3 euros (children aged 3 to 7 years).
Access is free for children under three years.
Tickets are purchased directly at the gateway to the Castle, before the start of each visit.
