PSOE on the liberated PP-C's in Caravaca (27/06/2019)

Regarding the youth we found that not all are and in terms of experience we do not doubt that they have it, but of course it will be in other fields that are not public management.

Mr. Villa affirms that they have created new areas.

From the Municipal Socialist Group we only see change of names, that is, the same content with different packaging.

All these new areas of which they speak were already inserted in different councils in the previous government team.

We are perplexed by duplicities of powers and the dismemberment of councils that the only thing they will do is confuse the citizen when it comes to address one area or another, and that the councilors themselves do not know who has to solve a particular problem, if one or the other.

It is the result of "chopping" councils.

It gives us the sensation that all this hodgepodge of new names, of dismemberment of councilors, is only an image strategy to justify that they will release one more councilor.

It is curious that Mr. García himself, in the first plenary session of the previous legislature, held on June 29, 2015, opposed the appointment of a full-time council member and two half-releases, in the previous socialist team, voting in against and arguing that with two was enough, reason that has maintained during the following years.

It is surprising now, therefore, that it is not consistent with what it requested, but that it double the number of releases, going from the 2 that it claimed to the current four.

Pulling proverb "works are loves and not good reasons" or "do what I say but not what I do".

It is shocking that the previous government team with 9 councilors carried out the work with three releases, we insist, questioned by the PP that considered that two were sufficient, and now the current, with 11 councilors and therefore more distributed workload , need 4;

we insist again, just twice what it demanded a few months ago.

That is, more spending on releases for the same areas, having more councilors.

In addition, we attend the unnecessary division of certain councils and the duplication of others.

Two councilors will carry the new Urbanism Plan, a question that could be in Urban Planning along with Works that another person takes: three people for what could be the same area, what a mess.

We will have two councilors of districts, another unnecessary duplicity.

A new council has also been taken out of the hat, which they call Heritage Recovery, whose purpose was met in the previous Department of Culture and Heritage that, let's not forget, carried out the Rehabilitation Plan of Facades and Roofs of the historic center .

Another occurrence is that they have created a new council, which they call 'Strategic Projects 2024', whose contents are completely defined in the Department of Tourism, which coordinated during 2016 and 2017 the Organizing Committee of the Jubilee Year 2017.

The new council called Rural Development, is an area that already existed and was served by the councils of Urban Planning, Works and Pedanías.

Regarding a new council that call Animal Protection, this already existed and was integrated into the Department of Health.

And another simple change of nomenclature disguised as a novelty: the new council called Open Government, which is another way to call Transparency and was already in a council together with Citizen Participation.

Hopefully, they will be clarified soon, so much dismemberment and duplication of areas does not translate into inefficiency and that the citizen is not affected by all these "originalities" aimed at justifying one more release.
