The PP has held the round table 'La Caravaca that we deserve in the economic area' with the participation of Jaime Ruiz Huéscar, of the urban development consultancy Cities Forum;

Salvador Gómez, from the Calzia Footwear Industries Association;

Pedro Antonio Marínde the Association of marble and stone entrepreneurs;

Manuel Clavel-Sainz Bernal on behalf of the Murcian Union of Hospitals and Clinics and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AJE) and representatives of permanent British residents in the Region of Murcia.

The table has been coordinated by the popular candidate Juan Agustín Torralba and has had the assistance of the mayoral candidate, José Francisco García.

García has expressed that we need a Town Hall in Caravaca that rewards the effort, supports the entrepreneurs and does not lose opportunities.

"We have seen that these 4 years we have lost opportunities and subsidies for a City Council installed in the neglect and inaction, while from the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia has supported with decision sectors such as footwear, which have given a important step in this time, "said the popular candidate.

Jaime Ruiz has exposed the line of work followed in some municipalities to raise European funds to increase the welfare of their neighbors by making new investments in public services of interest and has encouraged the future government team not to let out financial aid to improve facilities public of all the municipal term.

For his part, Salvador Gómez thanked the help received from the Institute for Development of the Region of Murcia dependent on the Ministry of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and highlighted the help obtained through of the Regional Employment and Training Service for conducting courses.

Gómez has stated that the Business Acceleration Law is allowing the installation license to be regularized to companies that are more than 30 years old.

He also highlighted the importance of communications for land transport, demanding the Venta del Olivo- Venta de Cavila highway.

The representative of Calzia has denounced the shortcomings of the Industrial Estate of Venta de Cavila: poor internet connection, scarce and expensive land available, poor maintenance and lack of security.

Pedro Antonio Marín has commented on the reduction of direct and indirect jobs experienced in the marble sector and seconded the concern for the authorization of administrative activity licenses.

"The marble and stone sector loses possibilities of invoicing in important competitions due to the lack of a valid license, which is indispensable for renewing mining exploitation concessions", he added.

Marín has proposed a municipal plan to support the marble sector in order to eliminate the current tendency to specialize in the manufacture of semi-finished products and considers fundamental the support for the search for new markets.

He also agreed on the need for a highway that allows reducing transport costs to the port of Valencia.

Manuel Clavel-Sainz Bernal has stated that it is necessary to achieve a simplification of administrative procedures and has shown the benefits of a corporate coworking center.

In order to finish this act the representatives of the permanent British residents in the region, Mr. and Mrs. Hogg have transferred the reasons why they chose Murcia as a permanent address after their retirement from work.

They have commented that they have missed a global assessment from their town hall in the initial phase of installation in Spain and propose the figure of a municipal linguistic mediator that carries out administrative triage functions.

They have contributed ideas to spread the offer of Caravaca as a permanent residence destination for new British neighbors in their native country and have highlighted the advantages that Caravaca could bring, especially due to the tendency that this group shows to buy and restore old homes ( both in the old town and in the orchard and hamlets).
