On the occasion of the next celebration of the patron saint festivities in honor of the Most Holy and Vera Cruz, declared of International Tourist Interest, and for the correct development of the multitudinous acts that are celebrated in the months of April and May, the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, has issued a campaign in which he makes known the basic rules of citizen coexistence aimed at making the use of the rights and freedoms of people compatible with their safety.
On said side the owners, owners and organizers of the installations, premises and public establishments are informed, where the different activities related to the parties will be developed, which must remember the obligatory nature of compliance with the regulations on safety and hygiene, especially in subject of maximum permitted gauges.
Likewise, the regulations on noise emission and the prohibition of sale, dispensing and consumption of alcoholic beverages to minors under 18 years of age must be respected.
According to article 15.3 of the Municipal Ordinance of Public Safety that regulates street parties: "In order to promote the protection of health, respect for the environment, protection of minors, the right to rest and the tranquility of the neighbors, the right to enjoy a non-degraded public space, order the use of public roads, ensure public safety and consumer rights and avoid unfair competition to the hospitality industry, except parties or authorized places , the consumption of alcoholic beverages in the street is prohibited ".
The premises that elaborate or sell to the public food products must meet the requirements established by current sanitary regulations.
When the activity is carried out in covered demountable establishments and in caravans, they will have to have the appropriate authorization.
The use of elements susceptible to cause fires (fireworks, flares, firecrackers or gunpowder), braziers suspended in the ceiling or butane stoves inside the premises is prohibited.
The side makes an express acknowledgment to those who ensure safety and health during these holidays: Local Police, Civil Guard, Firemen, health workers, Civil Protection volunteers and the Red Cross;
as well as the cleaning staff, who guarantee the hygiene of our city, and all the workers of the municipal services of tourism, maintenance and electricity, who with their work, beyond duty, manage to provide our parties with the necessary infrastructures.
