The Popular Party of Caravaca has presented the candidacy for the municipal elections on May 26 at a ceremony held at the Thuillier Theater before hundreds of members, supporters and friends.
The mayoral candidate, José Francisco García, assured that "there is a project here, there is enthusiasm and enthusiasm, and we present a team that reflects the Caravaca that adds and advances".
The event was attended by the secretary general of the PP Region of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Miralles;
the head of list by Murcia to the Senate, Violante Tomás;
the regional deputy Víctor Martínez-Carrasco;
Miriam Guardiola, Conchita Ruiz and other party representatives.
During the course of the event, led by Carmen Fernández, the candidate for mayor has been making known the names of the 23 people who are part of this candidacy, which is reinforced with new independent incorporations of the world of business, culture or education combined with colleagues who already have experience in municipal politics and endorsement of management capacity.
"This is a team of caravans who have taken a step forward to accompany me to the upcoming municipal elections, we know that entering politics is not an easy personal decision, but nevertheless we are clear about it: it is time to commit ourselves to contribute to change of course that Caravaca calls ", said José Francisco García.
CANDIDATURE TEAM
Of the current Municipal Group they continue, next to Jose Francisco Garci'a, Monica Sanchez, in number 2;
José Santiago Villa, at number 3, and Ana Belén Martínez, at number 4.
Joining them are the José Tudela project (5);
Isabel López (6), Juan Manuel de León (7), Juan Agustín Torralba (8), Laura Sánchez (9) and Ricardo Molina (10).
The candidacy adds people who had government responsibilities in previous legislatures, such as Francisco Romero (11);
Mª Cruz Pérez (12);
José Ferrer (15);
Orencio Caparrós (16) or Pedro Pozo (18).
The team is completed by José María Marín (13);
Ana María Fernández (14);
Mariana Martínez, in 17, Ana Gallardo, in 19;
Marco Antonio Quiroz, in the 20th;
and Trinidad Pérez, in the 21. As substitutes go Maria Teresa Salcedo and Daniel Espallardo.
CARAVACA CLAIMS ITS SITE
José Francisco García has stated that "the train has been stopped for four years, now we have the opportunity to turn the situation around and that those who govern return to the opposition, we have shown that the PP has continued taking the initiative, despite to come up against the inaction of the municipal government ".
"After four years of paralysis and retreat, Caravaca claims its place, we do not want to lose more land as head of the county, nor go back in public services, nor that more companies leave, we want to be an enterprising, dynamic and modern municipality that attracts investments and generate employment, "he said.
The mayoral candidate has assured that "we need a municipal government that is not conformist and that bets for the development of this land full of opportunities that is Caravaca de la Cruz".
According to García, this team of people "is ready to lead a new stage in our City Council, we are going to change the excuses for decisions, the problems for solutions and the paralysis for development.
"To achieve the challenges that the municipality has ahead, García added, we have an integrating and diverse candidacy, with great professionals passionate about their land, people who have a lot to contribute, with the knowledge, commitment and drive necessary to assume responsibilities of government, people with vocation of public service to improve the quality of life of the neighbors ".
PEDANIAS CLOSE-UP
"The PP project for the upcoming municipal elections does not end with this team, we will put the districts back in the foreground, and in the next few days we will present the list of the 14 candidate candidates for mayors, key figures so that everyone's needs the nuclei of population are duly listened and attended ", has announced José Francisco García.
The candidate for mayor has said that "there can be first and second class citizens depending on where they have their home, we want equal rights and opportunities for all residents of the municipality and that is achieved with special support for rural areas "
Garcia recalled the abandonment that the districts have experienced these four years of socialist government "while with PP experienced an unprecedented push."
HEART AND REASON
"With the heart but also with the reason, in May we will have the opportunity to decide the present and the immediate future of Caravaca, we will choose between taking flight or staying stagnant with the backward movement of the left", he concluded.
