The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure is strengthening the road safety and comfort of the regional highway RM-730, in the variant of Barranda, which connects the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz with the province limit (Puebla de Don Fadrique), thanks to conservation actions to homogenize the road surface and restore irregularities caused by the use of the road.

The general director of Roads, Francisco González Manzanera, made an inspection visit to this regional road that has a daily traffic intensity of 2,252 vehicles, of which 486 are heavy.
