In order to promote a responsible and safe use of new technologies among the adolescent population, the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, in collaboration with the secondary schools of the municipality and with the association APCOM, has put march a new edition of the courses 'Social networks: Security, risks and advantages'.
About 300 students attended the sessions given by professionals from Caravaqueñas 'Centro Imaginia' and 'Tenredo Socia-Media', whose technicians were in charge of providing information and carrying out different group dynamics, with a participative methodology, to bring closer the real risks presented by social networks, focusing on key issues such as privacy.
These courses are integrated into the program of training activities promoted by the Department of Youth of the Caravaqueño Consistory, in collaboration with educational centers.
The objective is to address matters of interest that favor the personal and academic development of the students.
Other topics within this plan of training actions are those aimed at affective-sexual education, the search for employment or the prevention of alcohol consumption and betting.
