Civil Protection celebrates this Saturday, March 16, a day of open doors to publicize its main functions among the population and give a series of workshops on basic notions of self-protection.
The activity will take place from 10 am to 2 pm, on the Paseo de la Corredera.
The day will consist of five workshops, which will be adapted to different types of public depending on the age, on aspects such as first aid, handling of fire extinguishers, preparation of a basic kit and operation of the 112 Emergencies telephone, as well as information general about the philosophy and objectives of Civil Protection for those people who are interested in volunteering.
This activity is part of the 25th anniversary of Civil Protection of the municipality of San Javier, whose volunteers are visiting different municipalities in the Region of Murcia, and, in this case, will have the support of the caravaqueña delegation of the said association and the Department of Security, Traffic and Emergencies of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
