The municipality of Caravaca has great fondness, especially the pigeon, and in recent decades there have been several associations dedicated to this type of sport, which hold different competitions throughout the year.

For the people in charge of this association, having the Spanish Championship in Caravaca is an important achievement, since it will be possible to know first hand how far the passion for these modalities reaches.

In addition, it is expected that copies arrive from all corners of the Spanish geography.

In the Region of Murcia there are more than a hundred clubs, with around 4,500 members, which means the existence of numerous sport pigeons and homing pigeons that are raised and cared for, not only as a hobby, but with the aim of participating in competitions and sports competitions.
