The cooperative society 'Jute of Caravaca' has been one of the entities awarded in the XXVIII 'World Day of Cooperativism', organized by the Union of Cooperatives of Associated Work (Ucomur).
The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, was at the gala held in Lorca, which gathered more than a thousand people to recognize the trajectory and contribution to the growth of cooperativism and the Social Economy of companies, institutions and people.
The caravaqueña cooperative received the 'Arco Iris' award for Innovation, Equality and Participation of Women.
The Eleven Foundation, Huerta Solar La Jeresa de Lorca, Patatas Rubio de Bullas, Juan Pablo Muñoz (founding partner and president of C & M Asesores), Antonio Bastida (head of Local Development Service of the Lorca City Council) and the City Council were also awarded prizes. Santomera
The event was chaired by the president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, and the Minister of Labor of Spain, Magdalena Valerio.
