Another activity organized by the Youth Council is 'La Ludoteca', with games and excursions for Saturday mornings
The Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz has launched a new program of activities and courses for the weekends from October to December.
The offer of leisure and training includes the workshops of 'Cooking', 'Computer for children' and 'Photography', as well as the courses of 'Sign Language' and 'Disability and free time'.
The Youth Center also hosts on Saturdays, from 10.00 to 13.30, 'The playroom', open to the participation of children with disabilities and without it, as a space for integration and social inclusion, where games, dynamics and workshops are held, as well as excursions so that the children know better the municipality and the District of the Northwest.
Another of the activities promoted by the Youth Council is the 'Municipal School of Theater', which is held for the third consecutive year with a group of children and another youth group.
The objective of this initiative, taught by the Caravaqueña actress Lola Salcedo, is to promote artistic concerns and social skills among young people and children.
The cooking workshop will consist of two sessions: 'Introduction to sushi' (November 16) and 'French cuisine' (November 9).
It will be taught by the former contestant of the 'Master Chef' program, Mireia Ruiz.
The basic computer course is aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 12 and will be held on Saturday mornings, from October 20 to December 1.
The goal is to help grow by making responsible use of the internet and show useful tools for personal and academic development.
In addition, several photography courses will also be held, which will be offered in the near future.
Regarding the offer of training in the field of non-formal education, the Department of Youth of the Caravaqueño Consistory has scheduled the courses of 'Disability and free time' (9, 10, 16 and 17 November), which will be certified by the School Regional Free Time of the Region of Murcia, and 'Sign Language (initial level)', which began to be held on October 6 and will last until November 3.
This leisure and training offer responds to the goal of the Youth Council to have weekend activities with children and young people, offering healthy alternatives that favor inclusion and integration.

Youth Center
From the Department of Youth remember that during the months of autumn and winter Caravaca Young Center remains open on weekends: Friday (until 22.00 hours) Saturdays (morning and afternoon until 00.00 hours) and Sunday (until 22.00 hours) .
The facilities have meeting spaces for young people, with a leisure room equipped with billiards, table football, ping-pong, diana and play3, as well as rehearsal rooms for musical groups and study rooms, computers and internet access.
