The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has opened the call to apply for grants for the rehabilitation of facades and / or roofs of buildings located in the old town.
These financial aids are endowed with a total of 150,000 euros, charged to the municipal budgets of 2018, and the maximum amount that will be granted per dwelling will not exceed 7,500 euros or 75% of the eligible investment.
The councilor responsible for the areas of Urban Planning and Works, Enrique Fuentes, has reported that these grants are intended to encourage the conservation, beautification and revitalization of the old town of Caravaca de la Cruz;
improve the conditions of the buildings in terms of accessibility, energy efficiency and habitability and boost economic activity, especially those sectors related to construction.
The aid is intended to partially finance the cost of rehabilitation works on roofs and / or facades of buildings located within the scope of the Special Plan for the Internal Reform of the Casco Antiguo and may be beneficiaries of the same (both natural persons or legal) or the communities of owners.
The application, with the required documentation in the bases, must be submitted before November 30 in the General Register of the City Council or by any of the means established in Law 39/2015 of Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
The procedure for granting subsidies will be processed under a competitive concurrency regime.
The bases that regulate the process and determine the objective criteria that must govern the granting of the subsidy are published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM), on the bulletin board of the City Council and on the municipal web portal (caravaca .org).
The established scale punctuates, among other aspects, that they are inhabited houses or with the commitment to inhabit them within five years after the completion of the works, the antiquity of the property and that improvements are included both in terms of accessibility and energy efficiencies.
The grant application must be accompanied by the identification documentation of the applicant, documentation proving ownership, color photographs of the facade and / or cover before the intervention and a report on the performance, among other aspects that are detailed in the bases.
