This cultural proposal is part of the Exhibition Space Plan, which promotes the work of contemporary Murcian artists
'The indelible memory', by the Murcian artist Luz Bañón, is the new exhibition that houses the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez' of Caravaca de la Cruz from 9 to 31 October.
The opening hours to the public are from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The Councilor for Culture, Oscar Martinez, has reported that this exhibition is part of the Exhibition Space Plan, which promotes Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts (ICA) of the Region of Murcia, with which the Caravaqueño Consistory to contribute to the promotion of contemporary Murcian artists and enrich the cultural offer of the municipality.
"Proposals such as the Exhibition Space Plan come to complete the extensive cultural and exhibition offer that we developed in Caravaca de la Cruz, as it puts at our disposal artists who for one reason or another may not end up exhibiting in our rooms," said the person in charge of Culture in the City of Caravaca during the inauguration of the exhibition.
The exhibition 'The indelible memory' is a fusion of photography, video and audiovisual projections with which Luz Bañón reflects on the abstract concept of time, trying in some way to make it visible.
To do this, he recovers the memories, the memory of the places, and fuses them with what they are today to create new modified landscapes, full of history.
The creator poses to the viewer a game to discover the essence of their scenarios, all that they hide, since she herself ensures that she always tries to see beyond what the eyes show.
In the exhibition, for example, you can see several photographs of known places in the Region that are the result of the superposition of images from different eras, as well as a video installation of the Plaza de la Catedral de Murcia.
The artist wanted to introduce several works of Caravaca de la Cruz of new creation so that the viewer can better understand the meaning of 'The indelible memory'.
