The municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín, Moratalla and Calasparra, through the Commonwealth of Social Services of the Northwest, have held the constitutive meeting of the Permanent Working Committee on Drug Prevention, which will work on the creation and implementation of a new Regional Plan for the Prevention of Drug Addiction.
The creation of this table is one of the agreements that were adopted in the working day held in Caravaca last February, with the participation of some 60 people, including Health and Education professionals, representatives of AMPAS, technicians of the entities that work with people with problems of drug addiction, members of the bodies and security forces and technicians of the councils of Youth, among others.
The objective of this body will be to mark the lines of action for the coming years in terms of prevention, coordinating all the agents involved and planning the existing resources from a political and technical consensus.
