The Care and Information Center (CAISS) of the National Institute of Social Security, based in Caravaca de la Cruz, will reopen next Monday, July 30, at its usual time.
This was announced by the provincial director of this entity, Carmen Tortosa, in a letter sent to the mayor, José Moreno, who earlier this week demanded an urgent solution so that the residents of the Northwest Region were not deprived of this service during the summer.
The mayor has indicated that the "efforts made in recent days have paid off and this office will restore normal operation," which is why he has expressed his gratitude to those responsible for this public service under the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security , as well as the delegate and secretary of the Government Delegation in the Murcia Region, Diego Conesa and Francisco Jiménez, for the "quick and effective intervention to solve the problem."
The temporary closure of the Care and Information Center (CAISS) of the National Institute of Social Security has been the direct consequence of an unusual and exceptional situation, since there were three simultaneous medical losses by the staff attending the office, plus absences of the holiday period, so in the beginning the interruption of this service was estimated during part of the month of July and the month of August.
"Once this incident is resolved, it will proceed to open, entering into normal operation," says the statement of Carmen Tortosa received at the Mayor, which also moved the apology on behalf of the National Institute of Social Security for the inconvenience that this problem may have caused to the citizens.
